Overview
MakeMyTrip is a travel portal with real time bookings of flights, hotels, holidays and car rentals in India. It also provides these services in the US to India markets for NRIs.
The portal was launched in the year 2000 for the ‘USA to India’ travel market. MakeMyTrip launched its India operations in September, 2005.

CEO and Founder: Deep Kalra
Deep is a graduate from University of Delhi, and done his MBA from IIM, Ahemedabad. Deep’s previously held senior management positions with GE Capital and ABN AMRO BANK.
Chief Marketing Officer and Co-Founder: Sachin Bhatia
An MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, Scotland. Prior to this Sachin Bhatia was in charge of marketing at AMF Bowling, with responsibility for India and South Asia. He started his career in sales and moved on to Wizcraft Entertainment, India’s largest events and sales promotion company. Subsequently, he was with Grey Advertising in Delhi and Mumbai.
